PHLS2602
The PHLS2602 is an advanced Ambient Light Sensor with Flicker Detection that offers a range of impressive features. It comes with built-in PDs and supports two channel types: C/IR(ALS) for ambient light sensing and C(Flicker) for flicker detection. With an ALS sensitivity of <0.2mLux/count @100ms (at the highest gain) and a dynamic range of up to 100kLux, the PHLS2602 provides accurate lux measurements across different light sources with a 15% accuracy rate. The device also allows for gain settings ranging from 0.5x to 4096x and supports a sampling rate of up to 14kHz. The FIFO size is 512 * 8 bits, and it operates on a voltage range of 1.62 to 1.98 V. The I2C I/O voltage is compatible with 1.2V, 1.8V, and 3.3V, and the operating temperature range is -30 to 85 °C. The PHLS2602 comes in a small 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.5 mm OLAG package. It is highly sensitive to flicker detection, with a flicker/ambient light rejection ratio of 1/10000 and a flicker sensitivity of <0.02Lux at an 8k sampling rate. The flicker detection accuracy is 1% across the temperature range of -30 to 85 °C, and the PD coating offers 940nm IR rejection. The PHLS2602 is suitable for a variety of applications, including IOT brightness measurement, mobile and laptop display management, pad display management, and camera flicker detection.
